Description: I enjoy mixing ceramics with electrical components. The challenge here was to wire a lamp in a mysterious way, as if there was no cord inside at all. As many of my works, I utilized a “chipping paint” texture and metal panel duplication to replicate an aged 3-ring circus concept. This piece is nearly all ceramic, except for the construction adhesive that holds the pieces together and the lamp wiring components.
