Artist Statement: This project was pretty straightforward, just a graveyard with a zombie rising from the grave with a hand coming out of the tombstone. I used DAS clay and made a bunch of little tombstones and used toothpicks for the hand, the little bumps on top of the hand are bumps that i covered from the toothpicks and it adds a little character for the hand since it’s undead and rotting, the little cotton bits was supposed to be fog or smoke. I chose this topic because I like zombies and they are pretty neat to do, I enjoyed doing the hand and trying to make it more zombie like, I hope you like it.
