Artist Statement:
Swinging Into Heaven: This painting feels like part of my dreams because sometimes you swing
so high you feel like you can reach heaven. I was thinking of my Nana when I made it because it
makes me think of all the times I went swinging with her at the park and I wish I could be swinging
with her in heaven. I used some yarn from my Nana’s collection to make the swing’s ropes.
