In partnership with Steppenwolf for Young Adults and Teaching Artist Charles Andrew Gardner, we explored what happens when we don’t speak up about injustice when we see it, no matter how small, with Sliding Into Silence. We took that one step further with our Sliding Out of Silence. What issue speaks to you? What issue do you want to shine a light on? With this exhibit we are Taking Action through our art-making. Visual, Written, and Performances highlight the need to Slide Out of Silence – let your voice be heard. Stand up for Injustice when you see it. Give those who are unseen a voice.
