This project focuses on following the threads of ideation. The students began by first brainstorming a list of societal and personal issues that are significant to them. From the ideas found there, they created a collage of torn magazines and paper. From that, students made a piece based on or inspired by the collage. From the beginning to end, we encouraged the students to over-plan, then to hew away the extra ideas until there is one cohesive piece of art.
