Portraiture [Winter 2021]

Portraits have a long history as a means to be functional and as an artistic medium. Within Photography portraits were used to document human life and death, as photography grew so did creative possibilities. Artists realized that portraits could convey meaning as well as important subject matter. Students took this project as a way to explore their life and the lives of the people around them.
