Paint & Switch!

The students were challenged to create a pair of portraits from life, in a limited amount of time. Each student was given two primed boards- one to paint the portrait on, and the other to be used as a palette. Shortly after they began the first painting, they switched boards and made a palette out of the first painting, and turned the palette into a second painting. The result is two very stylish, and often different, portraits.
