Top half: This painting was inspired by me. I was supposed to do a surrealism painting of myself, but that’s not me. So I decided to do an abstract portrait of me. The colors came from not wanting to do skin colors, it’s just not my style. Then I did shades of brown for the hair to make it stand out from everything else. The background is outer space because it’s something I do in my art a lot. It’s my favorite thing to do.

Bottom Half: I titled this Good In Bad because it represents that in the bad, good always prevails. It’s three bad situations in which there is a bright side. In the first one, the room is on fire but there’s a shower to put it out. In the second scene there is a hungry shark, however the fish is in hiding and can’t be seen. In the last scene the world is on fire, however life is still growing in multiple areas. This prompt was a bit random, but it’s a lesson I’ve learned multiple times and wanted to share in this painting.
