Artist Statement:
Monsters Within explores the concept of emotions through the personification of monsters. Each monster represents a different emotion: joy, sadness, anger, boredom, and love. I used yarn to crochet each of the monsters and felt to create the face details. I used wire and wood to create there stands. I want people to easily identify which emotion each monster represents.
