Artist Statement:
This art piece is a sculptured mask of a Metallica Squid, a made up metallic squid creature. It is made of paper mache and painted. This was made during a Chicago Park District class called “Character Creations” at Indian Boundary Park taught by Rachelle Hill. No, it is not named after the band.
