Artist Statement: I created this artwork inspired by an idea for a school project. I used only a pencil and some graphite dust. To start, I usually sketch the shape of the plane, making sure the perspectives are correct before adding details. After that, I add finer details and then use the pencil and graphite to shade the rest of the aircraft, making it look realistic. I prefer using a pencil because it’s easy to work with, not messy, and can be easily erased. It’s also the tool I’m most comfortable with.
