Artist Statement: The pieces I have selected were created throughout my high school career and highlight my use of different mediums. In high school I was able to take 5 different art classes allowing me to explore these mediums and branch out from what I am comfortable with and had the most experience with. Each piece I am submitting has a different message behind it and reason for why I chose to create it. Despite the differences, my love for being creative which I gained at a young age is my main reason for my development of these pieces and the many others I have created throughout high school.
