Artist Statement: My very first trinket dish was made in my favorite art class, sculpture. Sculpture class exposed me to new art mediums and broadened my artistic abilities. The chocolate strawberry heart, I am so proud of it. Made out of clay, it was my first time using clay for an art project, making it very special to me. Clay is very easy to manipulate and sculpt, which is why I enjoy working with it. Sweet treats are my favorite things to do, which is why I made my very first trinket a chocolate strawberry.
