Artist Statement:
In this art piece, Enter My Mind Map, I wanted to capture an illusion of movement. I did this by using a dark ink pen and shadowing with a graphite pencil. The smearing of the pencil allows the piece to apprehend the illusion. Although I normally enjoy a lot of color, limiting the palette to black pen and graphite pencil allowed me to show my side of exploring new ways to make vibrant, exciting pieces.
