Artist Statement:
When I was introduced to the RE-VER-BER-ATE festival in my art elective, I had experienced a somewhat peculiar dream the previous night. I was looking outside of my bedroom window, with images of the sea and beaches flashing behind the glass. When I was told the prompt for the festival submissions was “dream”, I knew exactly what I would paint. This piece is one of my first ever paintings.
