Artist Statement: I love exploring different artistic mediums, working in both 2D and 3D. I like the challenge of learning how to work in a new medium, and I like to enjoy the process of making art as well as the outcome. I’ve been creating art my whole life and it has remained an outlet for expressing my interests and emotions and understanding the world. I often make what makes me happy, drawing on a sense of childlike whimsy. My work is also informed by my perspective as a trans and neurodivergent person because my identity sometimes makes me see the world differently. I often feel strong attachment toward objects, characters, and interests, which shows up in what I choose to represent in my art.
