Artist Statement:
This was a piece taken for an assignment within our AP Photography class. I requested the help of a senior visual artist peer on setting up the scene and eventually shooting this photo. The reason I chose to use myself as the subject is because I was started to feel confident within my queer identity and body, as well as my music choices and aesthetics despite the judgement from others (hence the title).
