Artist Statement:
I wanted to create a piece that reflected nature, I created the black outline of the bee with copper, I then added a black patina. I used brass for the background of the bee, as well as the rivets to keep the piece together. I am very proud of this piece as it represents the fragility of nature and the beauty it holds.
