Artist Statement:
I tried to express the concept of finding joy and meaning in the boring parts of everyday life, such as repetitive routines like commuting, through my piece. This message is conveyed to viewers through the way I illlustrated someone waiting at a train station, but with shooting stars and a pretty sunset in the backgortund. Viewers can resonate to this with their own commuting experiences or routines, and hopefully be encouarged to look for the beauty in their own surroundings.
