Artist Statement:
My name is Kimora Jackson, I go to McDowell Elementary School. I am in 5th grade and my painting is a representation of my hopes, dreams, and passion. Creating an epic sunset, replacing the sun with a basketball symbolizes the importance that basketball holds in my life. The colors I used were meant to help people who see my painting feel warm, hopeful and inspired! I used bright orange for the focal point to make the basketball pop!
