Artist Statement:
The central figure is surrounded by a variety of plays to showcase mental confusion of athletes. Unity is portrayed in the artwork as the artwork is majority of it is a monochromatic color scheme, however this is contrasted with the red to showcase perceived glory contrasted with confusion of the plays. The figure is breaking through the paper plays and facing the audience, such as a photoshoot. The figures head is lacking features and a heavy black as to further show the mental confusion.
