Artist Statement:
This piece represents my version of a nightmare, featuring a blood colored sea and a very deep red sky. These colors are scientifically proven to cause and present themselves in nightmares. My art piece also has a cracked moon, which shows a scary and world-ending picture of what could be real. This view on nightmares changes but in the end it brings this feeling of worry and fear of close-to-home references.
