Artist Statement:
The black and white filter of the image represents a memory that is fading but that I still holds a place in my heart. Including the skyline in the background combined with my expression and outlift helps to communicate the joy I felt at the time. This connects back to the idea that our memories are such a big part of our lives and the way were can recall these memories I through the use of sight.
