Artist Statement:
“This piece is a reflection of development and time. The changes people experience in time and the personal stories they hold within their mind as the world and people develop. It represents the connection between old and new, focusing on how people grow and develop throughout their life. The ripped canvas is sown together to connect one’s past with the present. The ripped sweater, which is a sweater I used to wear daily, is wrapped around the frame to further connect personal experience and attachment to memories.”
