Artist Statement:
This painting was inspired by the Chicago Skyline. I was on the Orange Line train when I stopped to take in how timeless it looked. I was headed to the art studio, and decided that’s what I wanted to do. The third picture is a reference image I used from google to paint my sky and water. The buildings were random and different shapes to represent architecture and how every building in Chicago is unique.
