Artist Statement:
Hardworking have been something common in my Guatemala culture. With a blockage into my language of not being able to be correct like any other student. I want to show I can be hardworking, like the family in my culture who wake up early and carry thier child with a basket on her head full with fruit to sell. I want other to know that just because I have a hard time speaking doesn’t mean I can’t be hard working like those in my culture
