Artist Statement:
“A Voyage Home,” was inspired by the flooding in Tennessee, which displaced thousands of people and destroyed homes. This piece, is also painted with oil paints. This piece portrays the devastation caused by the floods and serves as a way to express my artistic skills while conveying the emotional weight of the theme.
My portfolio powerfully illustrates the impact of climate change on the environment and its varied effects on people. It evokes deep emotions, particularly for those who have experienced its consequences firsthand.
