Artist Statement:
This piece is a representation of how it can feel to get ready with friends. I wanted to capture the chaos and fun of it, but also the fact that in the midst of the chaos, it is easy to feel left out and forgotten. I used as many colors and objects and the viewpoint of a small circular mirror to show that even though it feels like I’m trying the hardest to be part of the group, sometimes I feel like the most left out or disregarded.
