Artist Statement: The reason why I made it is because I had seen a lot of puppets made out of clowns and it inspired me to make a clown. My assignments have been based primarily on “what’s in my heart” and I’ve been trying to kind of base it off that. Me and my sister used to see this one clown all the time growing up, he was a community clown just to make kids laugh so my puppet being a clown comes from that specific memory in a way.
