Artist Statement: My art is a way for me to understand who I am, how I can express myself, and represent my ideas. Being able to express the small parts of myself that had to be shut away is deeply meaningful to me. As someone who felt the need to hide parts of themselves, art allows me to display my thoughts, what I love, and what I find interest in. I can allow myself to become authentic thus a lot of my work is centered around myself.
