Artist Statement: My name is Lydia Govera and I’m a current freshman at Jones. I find art to be a method of therapy, a way to find your own peace by cryptically hiding symbols in your pieces or by abstracting your feelings on a canvas. It’s a privilege to be able to continue creating and even be able to enter into exhibitions like this.
