Description: I collaborated on this piece with my friend after we decided to combine our themes for an installation art piece due in my IB visual arts class. I made it to showcase how a cycle exists with bones/fossils turning into fossil fuels over many years and how the usage of fossil fuels pollutes and kills the environment leading to more death and bones which will someday be fuel. I made it with cardboard, hot glue, paint and bones after careful consideration and planning. My theme of extinction tying in with Tyler’s theme of ‘Car Culture’ inspired us to spread awareness. I was interested in making a structural art piece which led to building a background and floor with cardboard.
