Description: Teacher’s note: The only expectation the students had at the beginning of this process was to collaborate on a painting. The project grew organically with no real end goal in mind. The project went through several iterations before finally arriving at the finished product seen here. I’m proud of these students and this piece because they took risks and made space for spontaneity in this work. They were less concerned with the outcome and more concerned with working on this together every class for 2 months.
