Description: Ana made a paper doll of child Dolly Parton from the Dollywood stage show about Dolly’s life. It represents Dolly as a child wearing the coat of many colors–a coat of rags–that Dolly’s mother made her. Ana first made the dolls body and head. Then she made the coat of many colors and pasted it onto the doll. She also individually colored each piece of curly hair and pasted each one onto the doll’s head. The doll is starting to get a bit worn, and Ana has since colored in the eyes, but we still have the doll, which is special to the whole family as well as a testament to Ana’s creativity.
