Description: Inspired by the Mexican culture, I wanted to create an art piece that exposed the way Mexicans view mental health. The feeling of being suffocated and not being able to express your emotions due to judgment or not being accepted. I photographed the traditional Mexican blanket choking a Mexican man to symbolize the pain of mental health and being silenced by Mexican culture.
