Description: This piece is a commentary on cancel culture – specifically, how no one is safe from it, hence the eye imagery and presentation of the subject (as if they were staring into your soul). The eyes in the background are taken from Pinterest, but the subject was drawn digitally on Medibang. I gave the subject ambiguous features, to represent the fact that over the internet, there’s always a degree of anonymity, which makes people more outspoken and likely to express their views and opinions than in real life. It also can be interpreted as, it doesn’t matter who you are, but you are responsible for everything you post on the internet.
