Description: My intent of the piece was to capture how gracefully a jellyfish that I saw at an aquarium that I went with my family floated and swam upwards. The jellyfish were very beautiful and reminded me of how dangerous they are, yet they moved elegantly. I also wanted to capture its intricate and beautiful oral arms and tentacles. The background was supposed to be bubbles in the water but it came out looking like crystalline water. I referenced techniques such as the Shibori Tye Dye and pictures of the jellyfish swimming upwards because of its tentacles all pointing down and spread.
