Artist Statement: It looks really serious or “miserable”? I’m not sure on how to describe it, but I drew her like she just finished crying, like if she was recollecting her thoughts and her tears became flowers. I want the viewer to feel like it’s okay to cry and to just let it all out, holding onto tears just hurts you even more and it is not okay to bottle up your feelings.
