Artist Statement: This sculpture was installed at the Chicago Public Library in the Winter Garden. As people walked by the lush foliage, some glanced at the glowing flower, then continued moving forward finding a place to read. Select people stopped and stared at the work, realizing it was not a flower, but a cluster of hands.
