Description: The drawing I have submitted is a 100% completely original design of a car I drew. The car features a side profile. What makes this stand out from many other drawings is that mine exemplifies my passion for the automobile. Car was my very first word as a baby and since then I have loved them dearly. The car’s name is the Primevere Elara. Primevere translates to Primrose in French, and Elara is a moon of Jupiter. Elara is also derived from Greek mythology. I chose the name Primevere Elara because I love the simple beauty of flowers, and the mystery of mythology and astronomy. The car itself is based off LeMans racers of the 1960’s. I truly believe that the 1960’s were the golden age of cars, with gems such as the Jaguar D-Type, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 330 P4, the birth of Lamborghini, the Ford Mustang, Porsche 911, and the Ford GT40. The 1960’s were the last years of cars being mostly handcrafted by artisans instead of being manufactured on a conveyor belt. The Elara was heavily inspired by cars like the Pagani Zonda, DeTomasso P72, and the Ferrari 330 P4, all of which are absolutely stunning.
