Description: When asked to draw based off the theme “Dogs” I tried to think out of the traditional theme. I began to think about things humans do that interact with animals, and that’s when I thought about drawing a service dog. Service animals are an essential part of peoples lives, and I think my work displays that importance. This piece is 8.5 x 11″ and pencil on paper.
Artist Statement: I wanted to shine light on an unspoken hero.
