Artist Statement: I wanted to display the familial influences of music in my life over time. Each ornament represents different family members that imprinted on my musical liking early on ever since I was little.  Growing up seeing or hearing each of them making music. If it weren’t for growing up surrounded by music like in my family, or music being passed down multiple generations I wouldn’t have been as interested in music. Without them I wouldn’t have taken interest in music at an early age I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
