Artist Statement: The title of my art piece is The Mango Bird. I made this piece because I was in the mood to eat some mangos especially since I can’t go outside anymore. This piece kind of makes me think that in the future whenever I go back to my sketch app, I will remember making this during quarantine. I’m trying to express to an audience that it’s important to still be yourself during this time and express yourself.
